Materials & Costs
White Pillow - $9.99 from the wedding section in Walmart, it was a Wilton product
Green 5/8" ribbon - This was left over but I think it was around $2.50 for the roll at Michaels
1 18"x21" fabric square - $2.00 at Walmart (I didn't use it all)
1
18"x21" square of brown tulle - 4.99 for a whole roll at Michaels, I
used barely any of it, the rest will be used for reception decorations
1 small felt circle (about 1.5" across) - I had this left over from my banners but I think its about $0.69/sheet at Michaels
Hot Glue Gun & Glue
Total Cost: ~$11
1.
See below for instructions on making the flower for the middle, I just
used smaller flower shapes, the big ones were 4" across and the smaller
ones about 3" across
2. Snip off any bows or decorations that you don't want on the pillow.
3. Wrap
the pillow in ribbon as if you were wrapping a present, by setting the
pillow on top of the ribbon, drawing it up over the existing white
ribbon that was on the pillow and twisting it to go in the opposite
direction then tying in a bow underneath. I used hot glue to affix the
ribbon to the pillow wherever I thought it needed it but made sure that I
left a place at the bottom where our RB could put his hand through to
hold it (i.e., didn't glue all the way across the bottom)
4. Use a big glob of hot glue to stick the flower to the centre of the pillow and you're done!
